I thought she looked like a modern Little Red Riding Hood (with, um, a green hooded coat instead of red, and some rather naughty over the knee platform boots). I love how her curls are spilling out of the hood......Talking about Little Red Riding Hood has anyone re-read any of those childhood fairy tales lately? They are rather scary! I was reading some stories to a friend's daughter and some of the "fairy tales" are deeply horrifying.

i know! i keep skipping sentences while reading to my 4 yr old daughter, to avoid the hunter almost killing snow white, babar's mum dying, etc.
ReplyDeleteI adore her coat!
ReplyDeleteislandfairy- glad it isn't just me! I don't remember being scared when I was little but it just feels weird reading these stories to a toddler now (although I must admit that Bambi made me cry inconsolably when I was growing up).
ReplyDeleteDaisy- me too! She wears it perfectly
I find the witch in Snow White horrifying....
ReplyDeletedoes anyone know the brand of this aaaamazing coat????
ReplyDeletesorry....i love the coat!!! but maybe i wouldnt love it this much without being shooted so adorable!!! thanks so much for your blog!!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice look - I am never a fan of high boots on women, which always seem low-end fashion to me but I love the green coat and you posed her very well. How many street photographers were around Somerset House? It must have been a complete mess, right?

Carla- don't even get me started on the Snow White witch! EVIL!
ReplyDeleteAndrea-hmmmmm I have no idea about the brand, Andrea, I'm sorry :(
But thank you so much for the lovely comment! Very sweet of you :)
Davidikus- Ha ha: yep, always so many photographers around but most are very civilised and allow each photographer a turn at shooting. Some do like to purposely monopolise though! However in Paris it is even more full-on! Last year in September (my first time shooting at the women's collections) I was paralysed with nerves for the first 45 mins or so. Hope I am not the same when I get there on Friday!
you really have an amazing eye. this is beautiful.
