Running With The Fash Pack....London Fashion Week A/W 2010

Sophie Holm wearing Maison Martin Margiela.

Love Maison Martin Margiela (dying to photograph someone in the sheer ruched leggings, and the long black backless dress)

Love the MMM store in New York* near the Meatpacking district

Love Sophie's hair, and Giant Tote

*Talking about New York, did everyone see the AA Gill review on Momofuku milk bar and the hot new NYC restaurant, The Breslin, in yesterday's Sunday Times Magazine? The Breslin, in particular, sounds completely brilliant (UK chef April Bloomfield is executive chef- she is also behind the West Village gastro pub The Spotted Pig). I soooooo want to go back to NYC NOW*!

**okay, so maybe after Paris Fashion Week is finished. I wish :)

  6. How I envy that platinum hair - mine's like straw!
Did someone say The Spotted Pig? Damn New York for being so far away, my local boozer will never have Anna Wintour ensconced in the corner…
    Great pics x

  10. wow, your photos are so unbelievably beautiful. i've just clicked through so many pages... they are amazing! you catch such honest and lovely moments. seriously, i'm a little overwhelmed. you shot some of the same people that i did at LFW and it's really great to see some of their names and what they do. i am new to this whole blogging world and should have taken the time to find out more about people.

anyway, just wanted to say i adore your blog. xx

You take great pictures and to very noticeable people, i really liked it.

  18. Hola everyone! Thank you so much for your kind comments.
I think most of us agree that Sophie's haircut (and colour) just really makes this outfit work.

Style Scanner: ha ha-yeah,I can't see Anna Wintour sitting in my local pub (despite it being a very respectable gastro-type pub)...We went and sat in the bar area of Spotted Pig when we were in NYC and had some lovely devilled eggs, and olives. I didn't get to have the famous burger as we had just had lunch from The Chelsea Market. If go back to NYC, I will definitely be going to The Breslin.

Wildernesschic- you are lovely- thank you.
p.s. wore my Tom Ford 'Black Orchid' fragrance yesterday despite the fact I was just at home. Sometimes one needs a little luxury to get through the day :)

The style crusader- thank you so very much, that is lovely of you to say! I don't always get to chat to people (fashion week is SO hectic and everyone is in a rush, as you know) and often I only get 30 sec or so to photograph them before they run off. There are so many people I would love even the luxury of 5 mins with just to chat and take photos......Hang in there-the blogging thing gets easier as you go along :)

andrebombacha- hey Andre from Venezuela- so nice you dropped by and had such lovely things to say. Thank you. I don't think I have had anyone from Venezuela comment before- cheers for being the first! And yep, your English is pretty much perfect!

Anon- not sure who the bag is by- someone might stop by and let you know.

Anthea- leather is just everywhere at the moment and will be, I think, right through Summer and into next winter. Not sure how leather would be in really hot places (like Australia, Brazil and Venezuela) during Summer though....lots of baby powder required :)
