The gorgeous Rie Rasmussen, Danish model/actress and now writer and director. Rie was telling me that she wrote and directed the film Human Zoo, which was selected to be shown at the Berlin Film Festival (it was the opening film). I was, like, ooh you must go to Australia to show the film at Tropfest! Rie is super nice and she absolutely glows in real life (her makeup was incredible: kind of all dewy and glossy and fresh). She was wearing Elie Saab in these photos.Oh, and in case you didn't know, Rie was the face of Gucci in the Tom Ford days.

ReplyDeleteLove the composition of this ensemble, the black strappy shoe with the black opaque tight and gray dress with structured to the absolute finest little shrug style jacket for day time. Really classic look - could easily be an image found in Elle or the like. Great job, I love your work & who you choose to photograph.

ReplyDeleteThe Photodiarist- yeah, she was telling me about it when I photographed her (I think it happened the night before....). I was going to buy one of Terry's books last year as they had it on sale at Taschen (Terryworld?) but I just couldn't bring myself to do it- it was pure porn, no ifs or buts. I wouldn't have felt comfortable having it on my coffee table- I would have had to hide it away somewhere: and what would be the point of that?
ReplyDeleteThe Fancier- she is brilliant role model isn't she....very strong, intelligent, accomplished and beautiful woman. I think a lot of young girls (and us older girls!) find her inspiring.
