wow vanessa. these are beautiful. and quite a different sort of material than i'm used to seeing on here. have you done these kind of shots before with a model on the runway and then off? it really is so incredible. i love the first shot. the black and white is really stunning and ads an interesting dynamic. i love your normal style of images.... the very 'vanessa jackman' type ones. you know if i see shots that look in the same style i always link them back to you... for me, you've dubbed that look as yours. but these really add a whole other element. that runway shot is beautiful too. she looks so happy! what a refreshing change! and those trousers are amazing! xx
@the style crusader- hee hee! No, normally I am not front row at the shows ;)!!!! I would like to be but don't think that will happen anytime soon :). Yes, this was such a beautiful show- all the models looked really, really pretty and happy.Lots of smiles and happiness. It was completely lovely. I have more photos from the show, perhaps I might make a collage of them. You would have loved it- each look was just so lovely.
Gorgeous shots! I love seeing models smile on the runway. Too often you hear about the grueling lifestyle of the exhausted, broke, hungry model, so it's nice to see one looking genuinely happy to be where she is! (Although I also believe the fashion industry needs to really rethink the way it treats its youngest employees, but that's another story...)
Apologies for the bad Lord Of The Rings reference...It's currently my new nickname (gifted to me by a friend) because I have also been spending like a kid on crack on knuckledusters.
And I love Arnsdorf. I have a belt from her debut collection that I use all the time. And then lied to my mum that I bought in on sale. Totally. Have you checked out the profile on Jade on Turned Out? It's pretty cool...
Just came across your blog today and I must say I'm already addicted! Your photos are absolutely beautiful. I actually just bought a brand new Nikon a few weeks ago and you have inspired me to go out and start shooting! Happy Wednesday!
