Paris Men's Fashion Week SS 2011....Carine

One of my fav looks on Carine Roitfeld. How she kept those white jeans so fresh and, well, white the whole day is a complete mystery to me (I took this at Galliano which was at 8:30pm at night). For sure I would have spilt my cafe au lait down them by about, oh, 10am in the morning :)

  1. wow vanessa!!! i can't believe it was so light outside at 8:30 at night! that's incredible, it's getting dark here in sydney at about 5 pm now, 5.30 if we are lucky haha. this is a great capture, i love how chic carine is, in all weathers, all cities, all terrains.

  4. @hannah Rose- hee hee! Yep, Hannah, it was still light until almost 9:45pm in Paris! Outstanding for photographs. It meant I could finish photographing and then have a wander around enjoying Paris (with icre-cream in hand of course!) rather than it being dark when I stop. But then in winter in London it is horrid for it to be getting dark at 4pm- very depressing. I heard it was almost "artic temps" last week in Sydney????! Like 12, 14 degrees?!

@Maya- she always looks so great doesn't she. Love her necklace and the chic shirt.

  5. Well Vanessa . . . that's why she's Carine and we are just mere mortals who spill things. As I did on my white dress this morning.

  8. Agreed! I looove the look of crisp white clothing in the spring/summer or (winter white/cream in the winter). But I'm such a klutz. White clothing guarantees marinara, soy sauce, coffee, or even just city street grit will end up on me somewhere.
