January: Chicago as a travel destination; Excited to try the famous Chicago deep dish pizza (in the meantime I am loving the excellent sourdough pizza from Franco Manca); Jamie Oliver's The real mushroom soup (there is nothing more wonderful in gloomy January than a warm, nourishing bowl of soup with some gorgeous toasted sourdough); Although I wash my mushrooms (a big no-no but I abhor grit in a mouthful of food), this beautiful Swedish mushroom brush is almost enough to convince me to brush only; Christopher Kane lace-paneled jersey sweatshirt (great with jeans or dressed up with a pencil skirt); Alexander Wang leather wide cut trousers (love the candy colour of these leather trousers); Alexander Wang Kira Ankle Strap Sandals (kind of ugly and cool all at once. Wear with bermuda shorts for summer. Dare to team them with socks as well?!); Topshop knitted fluffy crop jumper (electric watermelon colour to brighten up an outfit....and the crop is where it is at no matter if you are in the middle of winter or summer); Zimmermann Sundance embroidered cotton dress (such a pretty dress and perfect for those lucky enough to be taking a break in the sun this month. Wear with flat sandals, a messy bun, glossy lips and sunkissed skin); Monica Vinader Fiji rose gold-plated bracelet (a beautiful, delicate piece to keep for yourself or give as a gift); So much goodness at Alexander Wang right now: lusting after these sandals and these beautiful minty ladylike pumps; River Island soft check full midi skirt (team with a beautiful fluffy cropped sweater or loose cropped tee); Reading: Polpo cookbook (a lovely Christmas gift from a friend); Watching: White Collar (there may have been a binge session over Christmas to catch-up....now eagerly awaiting the next episode); and the little cat that sits in the window across the road from me. He (he looks like a boy cat?!) keeps me company as I work away on my laptop.
I am an Australian lawyer turned photographer living in London;
I take a thousand photographs every day - some in my head, some with my camera;
I can't imagine doing anything else with my life- I am totally and utterly in love with my camera and with the people and things I photograph
