Paris Fashion Week AW 2011...Louise
I was saving these photos of Louise Ebel for today.....the eve of the Royal Wedding. I love her dress, her oh-so-pretty headband (yes, fit for a princess)...and that red hair. So very lovely.
I know the royal wedding isn't everybody's cup of tea but it is rather nice to have something positive and good to celebrate. Here in London it feels very festive and spirits are high. I took a wander up around Westminster Abbey and along The Mall today and there was a hum of excitement (and a little craziness!) in the air. Lots of people from all over the world have come to join in the celebrations. Is anybody doing anything special tomorrow? Any parties planned?

These photos are so beautiful! I'm totally addicted to Louise's blog!
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful - as is your photography! Louise does seem to have impeccable style, as exemplified here. I love the (silk?) dress combined with the fur. She looks like she belongs in the twenties or thirties.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are generally stunning. Do you know of Fashionistable? Hers is another favourite street style blog, alongside yours. You both have a great eye for composition and spotting interesting people.
Cutess !

my stepmom is doing a royal wedding party. we're all dressing up in pretty gowns and fancy hats and we're having british breakfast and decorating and all. :) i'm really mostly excited about the dressing-up and food part, not so much about watching the whole thing on tv. :)
ReplyDelete@cameron-ooo that sounds fantastic Cameron!! You will be able to take lots of photos of stylish gents and gals!!
ReplyDelete@svenja-oooo that will be delightful! I am about to head on up to St James Park just to soak up the atmosphere. You will see much more on tv than I will be anyway!
I have the day off (for other reasons but I must admit I timed them to match this date) and am watching at home in my pj's now. Any reason to celebrate these days is more than welcome!

I was avoiding anything and everything about the wedding (It was over kill, I thought) But just at the last minute, right before the wedding began I got hooked on the excitement! It was such a beautiful thing to see - Glad I watched :)

She always comes up with the lovelist outfits! Big fan of her hair as well, I regularly dye my hair different shades of red.
ReplyDeleteLove the second image - beautifully lit.
ReplyDelete@Alice Olive- I wish I could have that light all the time!
ReplyDelete@Lexi- did you take a peek at Louise's blog? She might have done an outfit post back in March when this was taken.
@thisiswhati'dwear- I think a lot of people felt the same way...and then tuned in at the last minute. I thought it was so beautiful (I was one of the mad people who went up to St James Park to watch!) and she looked just so incredibly happy. It was such a fantastic, happy atmosphere everywhere in London. Great start to the summer season.
She looks like a princess!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love it!
ReplyDelete@Lexi- The designer of that headband is shourouk !
