you know this lady was on my Eurostar that day - 5.25am'er to Paris from London. I saw her skirt and immediately thought - i wonder if she is heading to fashion week - no one could possibly look so cool at 5am! (i was with ugly hair and in ugg boots) I then saw Facehunter dragging her away for a photo outside the Ritz..
@sunday- No way!!! That is so amazing that she was dressed like this at 5:25am (I know that Eurostar well- it is the one I almost always catch to Paris! I hate getting up so early but I love that it gets you into Paris at 9am :)) Is the skirt Balenciaga??? It looks very similar to the one the beautiful Maya from Turned Out had on one day and I am sure she said it was Balenciaga.
It is Balenciaga - what an amazing shot - so simple and so perfect - btw thanks so much to your anon for the headsup on the M Melling Burke jeans - they were marc by marc - i got them on Saturday - i cannot tell you what they do for your figure - so i am rather chuffed of fashion and frank x
@fashion and frank- yay!!!! SO happy you found the marc by marc jacobs jeans aka the MM Burke jeans! Woo hoo! So they are super flattering on????? What are you teaming them with?? No doubt a hefty winter coat and a scarf?!
I so am Vanessa - do love a scarf - i am having a faux fur 70's-esque bomber made at the mo - which i cannot wait to get on Saturday i think it will be made for them - so its still chuffed and rather excited of Fashion and Frank xx
I have found someone in Soho who is supposed to be really good - and so far i am impressed - will let you know when i have it - it is like golddust finding good people - btw if ever you want alterations to existing i have the most amazing tailor - Atelier Colpani in Avery Row - unbelievable - they have taken sizes out of really really delicate lanvin dresses for me and you cannot see on the inside let alone the outside - i wholeheartedly recommend them and even better they can take in the seat of jeans, shorten, alter leg seams all as per original - which is soooo handy x
@f and f- ooo I am excited about this tailor in Soho- keep me updated once you have it in your hands! I have a couple of things I love the shape of and want made up in different fabrics. Thanks also for the alterations tip- they sound amazing. P.s have you ever got anything invisibly mended due to hideous beasty moths?? Wowsers! It is expensive...I keep my cashmere in the freezer now
I havent but i hear the cashmere clinic are good - i use clove oil - the little blighters hate it and so far so good ... will def keep you updated - she has taken a pattern of my fave trsrs and the toile looks good so it is just finish that i am waiting to see xx
