  1. I don't get it. She is half veiled/ half undressed but carries an islamic chain. Is she mocking the Islamic religion?

  2. It has nothing to do with islamic religion. If you look better she is actually carring a purse.. She takes her inspiration from russian history and folkolore. That´s why she is wearing a headscarf. It has absolutely nothing to do with islam...

  3. @Anon1 - I personally would agree with @Anon2.....in my opinion this look is an interpretation/based on a traditional Russian outfit. The print on her dress, the headscarf are very much reminiscent of traditional Russian folk wear. In many parts of Eastern Europe, headscarves are worn tied around the chin (when I visited Poland, lots of women wore a scarf in this way, particularly in more rural areas).
