After Giambattista Valli, Paris, March 2013.
I love this velvet suit...so elegant, so chic, so timeless.
Recreate her look (kind of):
Velvet blazer: Elizabeth and James Rex velvet blazer, Rachel Zoe Hutton velvet blazer, ASOS velvet tux blazer, Stella McCartney Flora velvet tuxedo blazer
Velvet pants: AG Adriano Goldschmied super skinny pants, J Brand Katharine velvet trousers, Gucci Velvet flared pants, True Royal slim fit velvet pants, ASOS velvet tux pants, or 7 For All Mankind velvet skinny pants
White shirt: Equipment slim signature blouse, J.Crew Perfect shirt, Dsquared2 Dean shirt or Carven shirt
I love the simple sophistication of this suit. The cropped pants give it just the right touch of playfulness,
ReplyDelete@Lauren - definitely. And very Lauren Hutton-esque....

@monkeyshines - it is beautiful isn't it....
ReplyDelete@fashion and frank - me too. I really, really love this look, I think it is so elegant and you can imagine it would suit any age group from late teens to women in their 70's, 80's. Just change up the shoes, bag to suit.
Very cool. I'm pulling out my velvet pants for spin sometime soon after looking at this!
