Paris Fashion Week SS 2013....Hanneli

Hanneli Mustaparta (wearing Vika Gazinskaya), Tuileries, Paris, October 2012.

Another beautiful dress on Hanneli: perfect for a special occasion or wedding this summer.

Recreate Hanneli's look (kind of):

  5. Hanneli can do no wrong!
Once again, she impresses me with her style and that hair that somehow always manages to look so casually put together.
Aside from the fact that Hanneli is basically stunning and would look amazing in even a potato sack, I think what I (and countless others) love about her is the way she goes beyond what we would expect or perceive as being stylish. For instance, this dress, with its sleek silhouette and the parallel peplums is quite surprising. The muted blue and white color paired with the silver clutch is super relaxing and calming whereas those Valentino Rockstud pumps add just the right pop of color! Something that comes to mind a little bit is Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz...red shoes? Check! Blue and white dress? Check! Now all that's missing is a little Toto to round out the adorable modern interpretation!

Needless to say, I would give quite a lot of things to meet Hanneli and possibly raid her wardrobe. One day :)

  6. @Alice - indeed! She never gets it wrong....nor does she ever look "costumey".....she always just looks like Hanneli. But you are right, she would look super wearing even a potato sack! And definitely agree re the shoes being a bit Dorothy like!
