Angelica Ardasheva from Angy's Tea Room, after Alexandre Vauthier, Paris, July 2013.
Angelica always looks so beautiful and elegant.....this was actually a gorgeous embellished dress and she just popped a simple navy sweater over the top to give it a more casual feel (and to keep the early evening chill at bay).
Recreate Angelica's look (kind of):
Equipment Asher cashmere sweater, Rag & Bone/JEAN Natalie sweater, Brochu Walker leather cuff V sweater, or Old Navy sweater
Embellished skirt: Suno sequin pencil skirt, J.Crew floral sequin skirt, Topshop gingham lace skirt, Rochas lace skirt, or Erdem Aysha paillette skirt
OOH! Wasn't Alexandre Vauthier A M A Z I N G ? Especially the final 'crystal' number! It was amazing seeing the sample crystal-embroidered fabric at Lesage (that visit was mind-blowing) a few days later.

That embellished dress is beautiful! Such a nice contrast with the casual navy jumper too :)

@Brigadeiro - oh yes, and SO sexy!!! That must have been incredible to see the fabric up close! Was it all hand-finished???? I would have been tempted to run off with it ;)
ReplyDelete@Mica - agreed. And it is a lovely way to wear a very glamorous piece without feeling overdressed....or to dress it down.
@Tabet - glad you like!
Yes, everything at Lesage is done by hand, it is absolutely incredible! I need to replace the Photoshop I accidentally deleted, so I can share some pics :)
