Running With The Fash Pack....Australian Fashion Week 2010

Another one of my favourite girls from Australian Fashion Week- she had such a great, cool vibe (almost a little Gwyneth Paltrow?). I have some more photos of her from outside the Arnsdorf show (she was working for M&P PR agency) which I will show you next week.

p.s. For any Londoners out there, hasn't the weather been just fab the last couple of days?! We just got back from an early dinner at Barrafina tapas in Soho and when we walked out with our full tummies, the streets were just packed with people enjoying drinks in the early evening light. Gorgeous.

  1. The weather has been gorgeous!

I really love this outfit. The green and the brown look great together and the overall silhouette is so nice.

  2. @Lydia- it has been wonderful, hasn't it! Pity I have been inside doing shoots, and haven't been able to get out an enjoy it.

I think it actually might have been green and black- it is just my dodgy post-processing that makes it look brown!! Both times I photographed her the light was so damn tricky- this was the middle of the day so everything looks really blown out.

  3. @Lydia- whoops, I realised you meant her hat was brown, not her trousers! I must have had too much wine at dinner :))

  6. What ever the colors of what apparel piece should look like, the image is just great. The silhouette of the elongated shirt with badwing sleeve with a skinny pants is well selected.Like it.

  10. Oh loving the mustard loose fitted t-shirt, black trousers and THE BOOTS. Going through a major boot-session at the moment. Sadly stalked some beautiful indie boy FOR his boots and then mail ordered a pair of bad-ass platform boots because I am tres spendthrift!

Loving all your Australian photos! Wish I could have stalked these pretties!

    xx

PS. I think she kind of looks like Zipporah Seven...the NZ model who seems to be a favourite in RUSSH

  16. The weather is such gorgeous here, too. I adore this picture, the girl pictured has summer smiles coming out of her veins. Her face is more than the garments she is wearing. Happy Sunday;-)

  18. Thanks everyone- so glad you like these photos. The light was very tricky as you can see- photo 3 is a lesson in how not to photograph someone!
@Kim, @elizabeth, @Some Style- yay! glad it wasn't just me who saw the resemblance to Gwyneth!

@KohCo- ha ha! I love that you were style-stalking a boy and then ordered platform boots! Mmmm although presumably the indie boy wasn't wearing platforms??? Ooooo I picked up a copy of RUSSH at the airport- loved it. It (along with about 5 other magazines) got me through the loooong flight home. I will look out for that model.

@Alice O'Connor- hey Alice, thank you so very much. The blog is still very much a work in progress but I am glad you like it :)Good luck with your exams!
