Recreate Oroma's look (kind of):
Derek Lam Albertine clutch in berry or Valentino mini VaVaVoom bag (love this as you can wear it as a clutch - with handy studded finger hold- or as a shoulder bag)
do you know what i think Oroma may be my new fashion crush - i havent seen her yet where i just dont so want to be her - fabulous x

@fashion and frank - I totally get that! She definitely knows how to dress to suit her colouring and body shape. I have my own style crushes as well - Grace, Ursina, and Marine (photos coming shortly!).
ReplyDeleteshe s sooooo elegant! thanks for 'introducing' her, i havent seen her before but here on your blog lately.

The dress is cute. I like it.
ReplyDeletelooking forward to seeing your fave ladies - thats the trick isn't it knowing your own strengths, playing to them and not getting carried away with what suits others and then trying to be them - think it has taken me a long time to learn that one but it is when you play to yourself it just works so well - am having such a fab time with the soho lovely - it really is so fab getting just exactly what i want and not what i can find - good fun too - have a good week Vanessa xx
ReplyDelete@fashion and frank - just saw your comment on Grace :))) She is one of the girls I was talking about above. You are right - wear things that suit you, not what everyone else is wearing. I think it is brilliant to get inspiration from blogs, magazines, on the street and then take that inspiration and make it work for you, your style.
ReplyDeleteI think I may be going to your secret Soho address in a month or so - there is a dress I want made up in a different colour and fabric for summer!
I know that is what i love the best - there is so much out there - i think it is the whole advent of the streetstyle blogging that has led to a lot more individual and less trend led styling - love it - so inspiring - dress sounds exciting - Joels in Church Street are amazing for fabrics - what an aladins cave xx
