Paris Fashion Week SS 2011....Eva

Eva Fontanelli who never fails to make me feel just a little bit happier when I spy what she is wearing :)

Running With The Fash Pack...Paris Fashion Week A/W 2010

How beautiful is Clementine* and her dreamy, messy side plait (very Alexander Wang SS 2010)? Her leather skirt, wedge boots and super loooong knotted belt are all gorgeous but that side plait is just so pretty.
*I can't say Clementine's name without thinking of basketfuls of beautiful, ripe clementines sitting in the sun (weird, I admit!)

Girls who wear glasses......

are just awesome!

Running With The Fash Pack....Paris Fashion Week A/W 2010

The super lovely Violaine Bernard, PR director for Feathers boutique in London. I love Violaine's French chic style (and her cute haircut!) plus, um, those Opening Ceremony clog-boots are just awesome! Perfect for embracing the clog trend if you quite like the look of clogs but don't feel quite brave enough to wear the high-heeled version.....which can be quite a struggle to keep on the foot without serious toe scrinching especially when worn with tights!
And Violaine's lovely camel, white, grey palette? Perfection.

Running With The Fash Pack....Paris Fashion Week A/W 2010

How gorgeous is this model? I am not sure of her name but I took this after the Commuun show. Probably you guys will know who she is.

I think she was blowing a kiss to someone here!

Running With The Fash Pack....Paris Fashion Week A/W 2010

Another one of my favourite girls to photograph (and chat to): Alix aka The Cherry Blossom Girl. Adore Alix, her style and her gorgeous blog....and I know a lot of you guys do as well :)

Alix was wearing the cutest floral Topshop romper, vintage boots, Miu Miu bag and Auntie Rosa faded denim jacket.
p.s. took these photos outside the Cacharel show. I have more photos of Alix to come in the next couple of weeks :)
p.p.s. Thank you Alix for being so patient and lovely to photograph!

The super cute Katie Major who is studying fashion journalism at Solent University in Southampton. Katie was in Paris as part of her degree but snuck away (sshhhhhhh!) from the 'proposed schedule' with her friends to watch the crowds before the Christian Dior show.

After the Christian Dior show.

I can't decide what I love more: the dress, the caramel leather jacket or the roses!

Running With The Fash Pack....Paris Fashion Week A/W 2010

Jacquelyn Jablonski after the Celine show with her brand new (giant) Celine handbag.

p.s. Brilliant marketing from designers who gift items to the models to wear after the show: they know the models are going to get photographed with their goodies.....and look good doing it!

Running With The Fash Pack....Paris Fashion Week A/W 2010

Ex-model and now Fashion Editor at Wonderland magazine, Julia Sarr-Jamois.

I really like what Julia is wearing here because it is, well, wearable no matter what your age (okay, so you might not want the rips in your boyfriend jeans if you are 'of a certain age') but everything else is completely workable. And her grey sweat? I am seriously considering the Acne grey fleece track top: I love its slouchy, relaxed cut.

Running With The Fash Pack....Paris Fashion Week SS 2010

Nothing better than wrapping oneself up in an oversized chunky-knit cardi on a windy, wet winter's day. Cozy-chic.

Paris Street Style....Red and White Stripes

Red and White stripes in the Marais (above) .

Red and White sripes in the Palais de la Bourse (below).

They were the sweetest couple-I asked if I could take their photo but this image was actually one I sneaked after they walked away and forgot about me and my camera....Sometimes it is nice to have completely candid photos, no?

Paris Street Style...Play Date

The playsuit.

Paired with sky-high wedges for a very grown-up playdate.

Exchange thoughts of climbing frames, jump rope and sticky fingers for champagne, fromage and a very cute boy.

Catch&Kiss, optional :)

Paris Street Style...Breezy Summer Whites

So this was what she was wearing early on a Sunday morning in Paris....effortlessly beautiful, relaxed and fresh. Love the athletic influence in the white tank, the pale blue beribboned thongs snaking up her ankles and that little straw handbag. Me? I would be useless with such a handbag....I would need to take another GIANT bag with me to cart around all my, um, essentials :)

London and Paris Street Style...Electric Dreams

Remember that song "Together in Electric Dreams" from the movie Electric Dreams? Well, I have been humming it in my head since 4:00am this morning (don't ask me why: re the song and the crazy hour... insomnia is a hideous thing). Actually, as I type, I realise that most of you wouldn't even have been born in 1984 when the song came out- arghhhhh I feel so old! You have to watch the clip though... those 80's fashions. Damn Skippy!

What has Electric Dreams got to do with Electric Blue Jeans? um, nothing....except Jeans and Dreams rhyme. Wow, it's going to be a loooooooooong day.

London blue jeans (above) from Topshop

Paris blue jeans (below)

Love how she's blinged up her Speedy....you may not be able to see from the photo but she has a gold smiley face and a tiny little Eiffel Tower attached to the handle of her LV.

p.s. I am cringing- I had a pair of togs (swimmers) almost exactly the same as the electric blue pair with white buttons in the beach scene in the Together in Electric Dreams YouTube clip! You know the really, really high cut togs- the ones that were never, ever flattering and exposed waaay too much hip and leg? I think they were suppose to "lengthen the leg" but instead they just looked kind of odd.

Paris Street Style...Red and Black

LOVE this girl's style (I think she was a make-up artist). The skirt was Sonia Rykiel and the red, red handbag, Chloe.

Paris Street Style...Blue Dayz

I shot this fairly early on a Saturday morning in Paris as this girl and her boyfriend were out strolling and shopping. I really like the little white leather lace-up's she is wearing with her leggings and oversized shirt-I guess, predictably, I would have teamed the outfit with some sneakers...but the flat menswear-influenced lace-up's works so much better right now.

p.s. About 3 secs after I took this shot, her very cute Chow Chow pup (you know the very fluffy dogs with the purple-black tongue) started to howl and we all burst into laughter. I think she (her name was either Coco or Cleo, I think) was protesting at my Zoolander-ish photographic efforts :)
