It wasn't just models who were wearing heels in Amsterdam: I saw so many girls riding bikes wearing sky-high heels! I wonder if it will catch on in London as our new cycle hire scheme launches tomorrow morning at 6am.

ReplyDeletethere is just something so inherently stunning when you see something so overtly feminine paired with a rough-n-tough fabric such as denim. the juxtaposition of the 'opposites attract' mentality in clothing (and outfits) is always brilliant to look at.

@Jennifer, @Nicky- I wonder if it is naturally that blonde? Possibly as I noticed a lot of Dutch girls had gorgeous blonde hair. Oh, and they are so tall!
ReplyDelete@BB- I agree BB. I love the silk/taffeta/sheer organza fabric paired with jeans look (or denim cut-offs if you have the legs for it!). It has a certain elegance but isn't too pretty/glam/overdone.

@nyc lu- Oh dear, once again I have no idea where her top is from :( Sorry nyc lu. She was rushing off to have her hair and make-up done for a show so I only had a minute with her. I know she did say she is off to NYC in August for work- but I guess that is completely irrelevant in terms of where she got her top from!
