Fashion Week by Berns...Dorothea
When I am photographing at fashion weeks, I often wonder what models are really like. I think most seem incredibly nice (and patient!) especially with all the photographers around. Anyway, I got to have a little chat with Dorothea Barth Jorgensen after the Lagom show in Stockholm and I can confirm that she is super, super sweet, and her feet have remained firmly planted on the ground despite all her success. You can check out her blog, Displaced Bones, here.

I love how you always tell a story whenever you post pictures up. :) truly enjoy reading your posts!
ReplyDelete@Catherine- mmmmm I have been rather naughty the last few months and haven't really said much on my posts. Sometimes I get cold feet/brain freeze and can't think of anything to say even though the day before I thought of lots to say! Go figure! I shall endeavour to share a bit more in the future :))
ReplyDelete@Sing- correct! I love the chocolate brown colour leather but black would work just as well. Love the saying "punch up any outfit!"
@Alexandra- lots of girls in Stockholm were wearing patterned (crikey, is that even the right spelling?!) trousers- either leggings or more flowy styles
I love the fact that she is wearing H&M pants, and not fancy pants from a fancy label :)
ReplyDeleteshe's gorgeous! love her jacket :)
ReplyDeleteshe seems very sweet and pretty
ReplyDeleteshe has such a sweet face!
ReplyDeleteLove the leather jacket!
ReplyDeleteAnd she seems sooo cute! Beautiful hair too!
She's so pretty...Love that jacket, and the pants in the second look are amazing
ReplyDeleteThe jacket is great: good cut and color.
ReplyDeletePretty girl, it's fresh and wearable.
The on-trend silhouette of high waisted pants fits perfectly her body shape.Stylish, but authentic. The best combination.
ReplyDeleteLove how she kept the jacket and shoes and just changed her top and bottom to create two different looks. She looks so sweet too.

love this! great pants and jacket:)
ReplyDeleteHey everyone so glad you like what Dorothea was wearing especially those H&M pants (thanks anon!very cute "fancy pants from a fancy label!"). And it is nice to see models wearing high street labels off duty- I am sure she is given loads of clothes (for free or for payment) so it refreshing that she chooses to wear H&M...although the jacket might be designer! Although by the time she needs to retire the jacket (and those things just keep getting better over time), it will probably be £0.009 cost per wear!
ReplyDelete@Amalina, @Eli,- she was so nice, very chilled and friendly. We like that!
this is one of the prettiest photos, so fresh and natural
