As with Kate, I love the idea of wearing a white/ivory dress in the depths of winter - I think it looks whimsical, romantic, quietly beautiful....and unexpected. Team with black tights, a sweater (like Jennifer has done) and a warm coat. p.s. This is probably not the outfit to eat spaghetti with tomato sauce in (unless you are very skilled at eating same!).
Recreate Jennifer's look (kind of):
White or Ivory dress: Lover Tennessee lace-trimmed dress, Carven dress (in the Carven show they teamed this dress with a heavy navy coat), Milly Daphne Swirl dress, Chloe silk and lace dress, Sea pintucked and shearling dress, or B + AB Dobby spot dress
Cosy winter coat: Versace coat, See by Chloe coat, Carven rabbit-trimmed navy coat, A.L.C Savannah coat, Oasis Fur cape coat, or Viktor &Rolf twill coat
Robert Clergerie T-bar sandals, Gucci suede peep-toe t-bar pumps, Burberry T-Bar bridle sandals, Yves Saint Laurent Candide t-bar pumps
Absolutely beautiful outfit - perfectly constructed. I love the jacket and furry scarf. :)
ReplyDeleteThe jacket is so gorgeous ! i must have it! http://fashionfixdaily.weebly.com/
ReplyDeleteVery clever outfit. Yes the white is really beautiful for winter. I absolutly love the neck ruff and the shoes!
ReplyDeleteReaaaally loving that black bag!
ReplyDelete@Zoe - I agree, I love every piece she is wearing including the face framing scarf and earrings.
ReplyDelete@Chloe - it is lovely isn't it!
@Wildflower - white in any season is high-maintenance but it is particularly decadent in winter! I am not sure why I think this but I do :)
