An idea for those coping with the cold in the US at the moment: add some colour to your outfit by layering socks (or legwarmers) over your tights like Tian has done. 

Recreate Tian's look (kind of):

Topshop emerald slinky ankle socks, Wolford Velvet 66 socks, or Stance Athletic electric palms socks

Plaid shirt: Madewell Ex BF Flannel plaid boyshirt,  Alice + Olivia Piper button down shirt, Etoile Isabel Marant Upton plaid shirt or ASOS shirt in classic plaid check

Paris Fashion Week SS 2014....Yasmin

Today, two ways to wear a full maxi skirt: with a simple printed tee like Yasmin is wearing in these photographs, or with a sweater and shirt like Tiffany wore (in the post below). I think the idea of a full maxi skirt can be a bit daunting especially for day (there is a lot of material going on!) but worn with a casual tee or a simple sweater - and a confident attitude - it can definitely work.
