As soon as I saw this guy strolling in these pants, I immediately thought of the street artist, Invader, who creates mosaics resembling characters from the Space Invaders game and, more recently, a project using Rubik's Cubes (his RubikCubist period).The guy (and the pants!) are from a place near Düsseldorf, in Germany.
I agree about the space invaders! they're pretty class.

LJ- I have only ever seen them on the streets of Paris but apparently his work is all over the world. My husband was saying he spied some in Melbourne...I need to print out copies of those maps that Invader makes to document his work in a city...
